One of the key benefits of implementing a cloud-based financial management solution is that the software continues to improve without you or any IT personnel intervening. Infor SunSystems Cloud delivers a new release every six months, and each one is designed to make life a little easier for finance teams.
The latest April 2026 release, announced by Tariq Hawa (Director, Product Management) and Alex Marchant (Senior Manager, Product Management), brings a range of meaningful enhancements across reporting, dashboards, compliance, integrations, and user experience.
In this article, we will walk you through what has changed, why it matters, and how TRG International can help you make the most of it.
1. Smarter report delivery with Q&A Scheduler
Previously, the scheduler had limited output options, making it difficult to produce polished documents at scale. The April 2026 release fixes this issue:
- The scheduler now integrates with a dedicated PDF production service, so reports are better formatted before they are sent.
- The scheduler now supports .xlsm files (Excel macro-enabled), especially useful for teams that rely on complex spreadsheets with embedded tables or macros.
- Users can now refine scheduled outputs by individual sheets while ensuring they meet store and data communication requirements.
This means Finance teams can automate the delivery of well-formatted reports to any user in the company.
2. New role-based widgets via Infor OS for more interactive dashboards
The April 2026 release introduces a suite of application-built widgets within Infor OS, designed to be intuitive, familiar, and immediately actionable. Together, these four widgets give Finance teams a live, at-a-glance view of their financial position.
Here is what is now available.
Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
This widget shows, on average, how long it takes your company to pay suppliers, displayed as a yearly line chart. It is a practical tool for cash flow management, supplier negotiations, and avoiding late-payment penalties.

Average Invoice Processing Time
This widget tracks how long it takes to process invoices from receipt to payment, broken down by month. It highlights inefficiencies in the approval process and helps identify opportunities to speed things up, unlocking early-payment discounts and improving supplier relationships.

Invoice Status Tracker
This widget uses a pie chart to show purchase invoice lines by approval status (approved or unapproved). Users can:
- Drill down to invoice line detail, or
- Drill back into the Purchase Invoice Entry form in SunSystems
This widget helps you spot bottlenecks early and keep track of progress before issues arise.

To Be Invoiced Purchase Order Lines
This widget retrieves purchase order lines that have been received but not yet fully invoiced, then summarises them by their invoicing statuses.
Users can click directly on the chart to start drilling down to the purchase order line, or drill back to the related Purchase Order in SunSystems. This helps users to grasp outstanding obligations and take necessary follow-up actions immediately.

Most finance teams today are stuck operating reactively: always catching up, never leading forward. Stop closing books the hard way with this on-demand webinar, where you get to learn Infor SunSystems Cloud’s powerful record-to-report capabilities.
3. E-invoicing integration compliant with PEPPOL
Regulatory requirements around electronic invoicing are growing fast, and PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) has emerged as the dominant international standard for exchanging electronic business documents.
In this month’s release, the Infor SunSystems team announced that the solution can now be integrated with Infor Localization Services (LSP), a tool already used by other Infor products to simplify processes and increase time to value for customers.
What this means is that if you operate in the PEPPOL network, where e-invoicing is mandated, SunSystems Cloud now supports compliance without requiring a custom integration. Please note that the service is only available on Infor SunSystems Cloud.
For other markets, this is a development worth watching closely.
4. Enhanced API functionality
APIs are now exposed via the developer portal, and documentation is also externalised, so even non-Infor customers can learn everything there is to know about ION Gateway/SunSystems APIs.
Other key highlights to note:
- Adding “Tax information” to “Supplier”, eliminating the detail extraction via Payload API using the Query method’s workaround
- Exposing objects under Additional Code Lists to reduce or remove complex workarounds using Data Fabric and Transfer Desk
- Adding additional logic to the Business Object Document (BOD) for faster data publication across tenants
5. Enhanced usability of Form Designer
Form Designer is a popular tool among SunSystems users. It allows users to create and amend any forms quickly. The April release aims to provide better self-service configuration, accelerate the user’s experience with the web-based tool even more by adding:
- Increased alignment control
- Snap-to-grid for more precise layout management

6. Expanded language support
SunSystems Cloud now supports Traditional Chinese, extending its reach to users in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. With this addition, the platform now covers nine languages: English, French, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
